Airbus A340-600 was derived from previous versions of the Airbus A340, which was in turn derived from the Airbus A330, which derived from the Airbus A300. The Airbus A300 also developed into the Airbus A310.

The A300 base fuselage resembles a mix between a Boeing 737 and an Airbus A320, but the Airbus A320 came after the A300 which leaves a paradox: Did Airbus make the A300 anticipating the future release of the A340-600?

Tips:

Take off with trim 25% down. You will thank me later.

Take off with flaps 2 (1/2, see Controls), with 80-90% throttle depending on weight. Rotate at 140kts IAS.

Land flaps full at 140kts (make sure fuel is 40% or less), retard the throttle right before you touch down.

Turning may be difficult with flaps down, you will want to put slightly larger roll inputs when your flaps aren't clean.

You can cruise anywhere up to 41,000 feet at mach 0.8-0.86. Please refer to this table to see the speed of sound at any altitude, then find your speed unit and divide that by your intended mach to find your cruising speed (In TAS).

Be sure to change your speed unit from IAS to TAS above 18,000 feet, and back to IAS below 18,000 feet.

Change the center fuel by finding the center fuel tank under the main landing gear and opening its properties via Overload Mod.
