Performance, reliability and looks.

My entry in the The Dragon tournament.

A couple of tips/things I found out during this build and testing;

  • If unstable - add more wings.

  • If extreme turns 'stutters' - add more wings.

  • when adding more engines to go faster, yep you got it, add more wings.

  • Dihedral seem to add greater stability, use in both directions.

  • Testing stability in sandbox mode using autopilot; normally for planes with tight cornering, autopilot will bob the plane up and down. When tweaking for stability use autopilot as a quick test, you want to minimise the bobbing motion.

    Yes, I beleive its the delta wing that causes that.

    I’m curious, when the craft turns, it gains speed much more quickly than accelerating in a straight line
