The Boeing 737 MAX is a spin-off of the Boeing 737 with a new engine, a new aircraft family that builds on the benefits of a new generation of 737s, including the Boeing 737 MAX7, Boeing 737 MAX8, 737 MAX9, 737 MAX10 and Boeing 737 MAX200. On December 28, 2021, Indonesia's Ministry of Transport announced in a statement that, as the regulator, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport has decided to lift the flight ban after completing an assessment of the changes to the System of the Boeing 737 MAX airliner.
