Need a ground assault hovercraft?

PROJECT Gyrotator is a transition aircraft with flight and hover modes.

It is mainly a testbed for the Gyrotator Hover Control System, which places one of Gestour's gyro cockpits on some rotators for flight control.

With two rocket pods and two plasma guns, it is ready to take on ground targets.

The presence of a flight mode allows for a quick getaway in the case of enemy missiles or AA guns.

The landing skis are somewhat strong, and can take rough landings.

AG8+NFC - Hover Mode (activate gyro)
VTOL UP - Thruster Preset Rotate 90*
VTOL DOWN - Thruster Preset Rotate 110*
Trim - Elevator Trim

MODE-1 FLIGHT MODE: AG1+ VTOL MIDDLE
General flight mode of above 370 mph.
- Rotator-Thruster Roll
- Control Surface Pitch
- No Yaw capability

MODE-2 HOVER MODE: AG8+VTOL UP/DOWN
Slow mode requiring lots of skill. Large variation in speed.

Notes:
- Gyrotator Concept System works!!!
- Propeller does nothing. But it used to.
- MODE-1 Roll is a bit unresponsive as rotators take a realistic amount of time to turn.
- Rocket pods are not modded at all! They are free to use (5 parts)

- This takes up to 30% less space on carriers, so you can hold more on long range missions.
