History

This is a deep modification of the fighter As 79, the index 11 indicates the year of modification. The aircraft received new electronics, the arsenal of possible weapons was expanded, the cannon was replaced, a folding refueling boom was added, and the aircraft could be carrier-based.

Appearing at the height of the Middlefield conflict, it participated in hostilities from the first months after the tests were completed. It soon became one of the "Workhorses" of the UDR Army.

The many times improved electronics, and the silhouette that remained the old one, constantly confused the enemy. There were cases when the enemy tried to avoid fighting with the old modifications and when too carelessly attacked the new one, getting kicked in the gut. Eventually, they learned to distinguish them by the frequency of the search radar.

As an aircraft carrier, the plane did not perform very well. It took up a lot of space, and did little to compensate for it. As a consequence, later versions (As 79 - 11 - B) removed the carrier-based option.

some instructions

1. At high speeds the AoA Limiter starts to fail. It will have to be turned off and maneuver more carefully.
2. The parachute is triggered automatically if activated. It unfolds itself on landing and unlatches itself after braking. Simply activate the AG4 in flight before landing.
3. The chassis is very strong, but there is a limit to everything.
