F-22A Raptor V2.0
Lockheed Martin F-22A Raptor
For SimplePlanes
The Advanced Tactical Fighter program, “Senior Sky,” led to a competition between Lockheed/Boeing/General Dynamics and Northrop/McDonnell Douglas, who developed the YF-22 and YF-23, respectively. Ultimately, the YF-22 was chosen for its better maneuverability and lower costs, despite lower speed and stealth capability. Further development resulted in the F-22A Raptor, a highly maneuverable and supercruise capable advanced fifth-generation stealth fighter. While the F-22A has had several modernization upgrades, F-22A production has ceased since 2012 due to rising costs and the lack of an equal potential adversary. Thus, the fleet of F-22A’s remains at 187, far lower than the projected 750.
Because of the advanced technologies of the aircraft, the only operator of the F-22A Raptor is the US. Australia, Japan, and Israel were interested in purchasing F-22’s, but due to the ban on exports, are now looking to purchase F-35’s instead, which were meant for international export and have more multirole capability.

Author’s Notes
- On takeoff, use 100% throttle and 75% trim with auto-flaps. You can also take off using military power.
- On landing, use the trim to achieve your glide slope and adjust using pitch.
- To perform a cobra maneuver, slow to 600 km/h and stay level, throttle to military power (if you haven’t already) activate RSM, and pitch up. Release pitch when you reach 90 degrees AOA and apply taps of downwards pitch.
- To perform a kulbit maneuver, slow to 350 km/h, activate afterburner and RSM, and pitch up. You must be below 275 km/h at the height of your kulbit or you will lose yaw stability.
- To perform a falling leaf maneuver, slow to 600 km/h and activate RSM. Pull up and apply left or right roll. To recover, disable RSM and roll with the spin until you stop stalling.
- To perform a pedal turn, pitch up and perform a hammerhead, using RSM and yaw while pitching up. As you enter the spin, pitch up to stay in the spin and release and disable RSM to recover. You can also use differential thrust to help stay in the spin.
- At high AOA, roll input affects yaw maneuvering.

I would like to see A-4 Skyhawk Family next. Like B/ E/ M/ N(IAF) for example.
It’s funny my little brother with a recent high end phone, can’t handle this, meanwhile my 5 year old iPad Air 2, runs planes with up to 700 parts in 50-60 fps.
555 Tuna
Philippine sardines lol
For some reason this just crashes my phone
Can I ask for a su-34 Fullback? It's not necessary but it'd be interesting to see you build one
@reinmcdeer just asking if you could make a weapons pack
looks awesome
Very nice 9.5/10... Lost 0.5 on the fact that there's not cockpit lol
@Aeres91 Go ahead
Wolfhunter9111 is also doing that
A j-20 maybe?
Hey ReinMcDeer, would you mind if I build cockpits for your builds? I did for one, can I do for others too? I mean, I can't build complete aircrafts I Suck at them...but I can manage with cockpits
And by the way, i would like to make something upgrade for your aircrafts. Stay tune to find out
I was wondering will you make a Su-57 Felon soon? Especially the one with grey splinter prototype camouflage
Wow!
Real ace
@ZeroWithSlashedO I think that'd be cool
@SirLoafsAlot woops :v
hey babe wake up reinmcdeer uploaded again
ffs I should really remake the F-22 the old one looks funky as helllllll
Where’s my TAG!,
@ReinMcDeer yeah fair enough
it's probably just the variables which is sad
@Kangy Its a bit on the laggy side for me too and I'm guessing its me sucking at optimizing variables
Also I oughta start using that Ig
ok uh please use your control instructions tab, it’s in-game and saves me from going back n forth to copy paste the stuff from the site. It’s just easier.
Unfortunately I can’t run the thing because it’s just crashing the game every time I try to fly it in the sandbox. Not sure why but that’s just SimplePlanes being SimplePlanes I guess.
@ShinyGemsBro ok you're true, we are almost same.but plz name ur variants right.i was still salty about your honey hornet incident.guess we can be friends now? 🤝
@TheCommentaryGuy i didn't, bingus did
it’s 2022 and people still care about random people’s (you’ve probably never met them before irl by the way) interests
Grow up lmao this isn’t twitter it’s an Indie game about making vehicles.
@ShinyGemsBro Good
