I-560 Hercules

4,880 JB56  7.0 years ago

The I-560 is a huge interceptor built around an even bigger 1750HP water cooled inline engine. Mounted through the porpeller hub is one 20MM cannon, and two other sets of two are mounted on each wing for a total of five cannons. Based off the airframe of the G.55 Centuaro, the Hercules has been upsized in every way possable. Being an interceptor, your top crusing speed of 390MPH will be found at 30,000ft. Lower altitudes do not effect performance however, with speeds of 290MPH avalable at 15,000ft. Becase of sheer size and weight, the I-560 finds itsself quite comfortable in high speed dives, being able to reach a max airframe speed of 490MPH. A Drawback to this massive weight and size is manevurabality. Shes no dogfighter. fully furnished cockpit built instead of using a standard cocpit block. enjoy.
