B.A.P. Huascar
The Huáscar monitor is a turret ship, built by order of the Peruvian government in the United Kingdom in 1864, which had a relevant participation in the War of the Pacific.
She served in the Peruvian Navy from January 17, 1866 until October 8, 1879, when she was captured by the Chilean squadron in the naval combat of Angamos.
She served in the Chilean Navy from February 1880 until 1896, when she was discharged after a boiler explosion. She currently serves as a museum ship in the Chilean port of Talcahuano, Biobío Region She 3 she It is the monitor type and the second oldest armored (battleship) afloat in the world after HMS Warrior (1860).
