Dual-seat variant of the JF-17 Block 2. First flight in Chengdu, China on 27 April 2017. Serial production in China and Pakistan from 2018 to 2020. A total of 26 aircraft built - first four at Chengdu and remaining 22 at Kamra. Its multirole uses includes:
(i) Conversion trainer
(ii) Lead-In Fighter Trainer (LIFT)
(iii) ground-attack aircraft
(iv) reconnaissance aircraft.
Apart from the dual-seat, features like the larger dorsal spine, and a more swept-back tail are incorporated
Changes from the original by 'DiamondDogsDD' also includes:
- Fixed AG1 airbrakes staying in place when deactivated while in use
- Realistic-esque throttle control and speed (with togglable afterburners)
- Smoothing out inner fusalage
- Custom overall paint (MAF v3 [Export] finish)
- More fuel!
- Some AG inputs
- First time export of Maverix Titantour Technologies (MTT):
2x HIP-60 short-ranged Air-Air missiles
4x Zk-70 Medium-ranged Air-Air missiles
