The Tupolev Tu-34 / ??´????? Ty-34 (reporting name: Bitter) was a subsonic jet bomber built by the Soviet Union from 1964. Some 240 units were manufactured.
Produced in comparatively small numbers was successful for countries that lack bombers. Later in their service life, Tu-34s were used as reconnaissance aircraft.
