Independence Day City Destroyer

The City Destroyer is an aptly named vessel used as the main attack force of the Harvesters in the film Independence Day. Thirty-six of these city sized craft positioned themselves over major population centers around the globe, then waited until the right time to strike. After obliterating the cities below, they would move to their next target, then repeat the process until there was no chance the local population could fight back. The main and only weapon the Destroyers have is a central energy projector (called ''Energy Cannon'' by the Independence Day Wiki) capable of vaporizing their target, then creating an explosive chain reaction 15 miles, or 24.14 kilometers in diameter. The ship's hull was protected by an energy shield that could block both solid and explosive projectiles (including, but not limited to a nuclear detonation), but also carried a compliment of at least 500 Attackers. However, the exact number of Attackers is unknown. According to the expanded universe novel Independence Day: War in the Desert, an additional indeterminate number of Attackers were still on their launch arms when a particular Destroyer was boarded.

Pitch: Destroyer Move Forward/Backward / Attacker Pitch

Roll: Destroyer Strafe Left/Right / Attacker Roll

Yaw: Rotate Destroyer Left/Right

VTOL: Adjust Hover Altitude

AG1: Open Firing Aperture / Prepare Energy Cannon

AG8: Switch control between City Destroyer and Attacker (AG8 on controls Destroyer, AG8 off controls Attacker)

Air to Air Targeting: Blue Beam Weapon (less explosive yield, more ammunition)

Air to Ground Targeting: Large Explosive Weapon (bigger boom, less ammo, not effective against surface ships, but works in multiplayer mod)

FireWeapons: Engage Firing Sequence (HOLD CONTROL DOWN to fire selected Energy Cannon type)

FireGuns: Fire Green Stuff (Attacker control only)

    @iwannabeelected The only problem is the sheer size of the thing. If it tilts too far to one side, my fps drops to single digits, then I'm greeted with my desktop.

    @CarCrasher2 The Green Stuff is from a pair of wing guns, not cannons, and they only activate when AG8 is offline.

    @CarCrasher2 Sorry for the late reply, you need to be flying the Attacker (AG8 off) in order to fire its weapons

    @AEGIS The blue beam has 1,000 rounds and the explosive weapon has 15, it only brings the weapon online after the 15 second charging sequence. That is a side effect of delaying the weapon from firing with Funky Trees.

    @AEGIS There are 2 firing modes. First, activate Action Group 1 (this opens the firing chamber and allows the weapons to fire), then select a targeting type (Air to Air activates a blue beam weapon, Air to Ground activates a big explosive weapon), then HOLD down the fire button for around 15 seconds.
