The Rival MBT program was started when orders of foreign MBTs failed to be delivered due to political issues. The Krisian army worked to create the Rival without assistance from any Defense contractors. The final tank, though potent was largely a reverse engineering of the Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank. The tank was ordered en masse, however out of the around 2 thousand orders relatively weak Krisian industry could only produce around 200 before orders were canceled.
