Primal Exile (No Fuselage Blocks!)
“And in our exile, our primitive methods yielded promising results.”
For the no fuselage challenge. This beauty was made possible by Fine Tuner part scaling.
Controls:
- Normal forward flight controls.
- Trim for Trim
VTOL controls
This is a 2D VTOL! That means that it is easy to fly, and you will be locked in the upright position.
- Activator 1 puts the aircraft in VTOL mode
- Roll and pitch to move forwards/sideways
- Yaw for yaw
- VTOL bar controls the VTOL engines.
Please note that VTOL maneuvering is best when you are going slow!
How to use – INSIGHT missiles
These missiles never miss, but can be out-run fairly easily. Use them in close combat. Fire like a normal guardian missile.
The Primal Exile was designed under the title of “Economic Combat Vehicle”. As indicated by the name, the aircraft is extremely inexpensive to produce, and is still viable in most combat situations. Its entry-level cost allows it to be purchased by almost any licensed civilian, and is often used as a cost-effective means for various corporations to protect their compounds. However, with such a wide consumer base, the Primal Exile is also widely used by criminals. Fortunately, its combat capabilities cannot compete with fighters that, due to price, most criminals cannot afford.
The Primal Exile’s construction is its defining characteristic. The aircraft is the result of recycling, and is almost entirely composed of parts found in scrapyards. The result is an extremely low price for the relative quality of the aircraft. Of course, the aircraft passes all safety regulations, but is much more vulnerable to damage than any fighter available on the open market. When damaged, the hull of the aircraft will catch fire, causing noticeable damage to surrounding parts. Thankfully, this drawback does not usually cause critical damage to the aircraft.
Inexpensive weaponry is pre-mounted on the aircraft to balance cost and effectiveness. This weaponry primarily focuses on air-to-air combat, but is somewhat effective against ground targets. An incendiary cannon is mounted on the front of the aircraft, and therefore serves as potent tool against enemy fighters, as well as lightly armored ground vehicles. Secondary weapons include four nacelle-mounted INSIGHT missiles. These missiles are, essentially, budget REFLEX missiles. Locking is standard, but the missile is extremely accurate. This accuracy comes with the drawback of speed. The Primal Exile is also equipped with standard flares that have completely un-augmented capacity.

@LIQUIDconsumer The XML parameter is "tracerColor" or something like that
just a quick question:
do you know how to color the minigun and wing gun tracers?
@LIQUIDconsumer Thanks! This was a fun build to make
purfecto! absolutely AMAZING! this is the most beautiful creation i have seen. not just from the looks- but also how it controls, how few parts you used, (and still kept detail in mind!) and the fact that you didnt use a fuselage!
this deserves a 10/10 rating and an upvote!
cus this is just art that should be 3d printed and kept at a museum
I would probably kick someone in the face if the said you suck
probably
A pure display of skills !
@Jerba I scaled a bunch of curved parts (namely VTOL thrusters) to create the body of the aircraft. No fuselage blocks used! I used VTOL RCNs to make the circular decorations, and I used some structural panels for detailing too.
HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT HAS FUSELAGE??!!!@spefyjerbf
@AWESOMENESS360 Thanks! I always try to minimize my part counts. That way, more people can fly my planes.
What I love most about this build, is that it looks good, flies good, and that it has a low part count. That's what I love about most of your builds, since I love a good looking aircraft, especially if I can run it on my Ipad. Overall, this is definitely one of the cooler things I've downloaded. Great Work!
On my kindle fire it lags a lot at the start but it gets less lagy after some time
This is awe inspiring.
It is also a good example of the uneven playing field on which iOS users must compete in challenges.
That said, this is a work of art.
@spefyjerbf Great use of the parts given. Flies great and looks cool too.
@destroyerP top marks? Wow. I agree with you there
Genius
Wow. This is greatness packed into 100 parts only!
@destroyerP Thank you! I put a lot of effort into it, so i am glad that you like it.
Dang! This is really cool and it manoeuvre really well!
Function: 10/10
Aesthetics: 10/10
Detail: 10/10
Total: 30/30
This is actually a smart way of using the vtol thrusters. And well done on this! This is by far the best plane with no fuselage used!
@BogdanX Thank you. I spent a deceptively long amount of time on it. My rationale for the lock time was that the plane is supposed to be for low-end consumers without much money to spend. Essentially a budget plane.
Great.. I like the shape..
Amazing
Oooooooh!
Cool!
