Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8 Turboprop
A simple A-8 modified with a powerful "Turbo" engine which I obviously named "TURBO KILLER".
History:
When the allied sovereignties increased more and more within German airspace, the RLM (Reichsluftfahrtministerium) searched for a quicker and more effective solution for optimizing speed and aerodynamics of current plane models. The strongest and most effective Focke Wulf FW 190 given at that time was to test new motors and wings. A TL (jet engined) version using a BMW003 engine was calculated, too. For this one could not be convincing, however, the idea was rejected without the possibility being tested that using a turboprop engine may give more success. This kit displays the likely interpretation with a BMW018 turboprop propulsion, a type which would have been quite similar to Focke Wulf FW 190 V1 and V2 and the best aerodynamic solution. The jet was conceived to blaze downward, as it would have done with the BMW003 TL propulsion planned before. We may suppose the RLM would have rejected this solution because the fighting strength of the additional fuel would have been limited.
How to use:
- Button 1: Stabilizer
- Button 8: Open or close the cockpit
- Vtol: Flaps

@StrikeOnMyCommand there are many focke wulf Turboprop designs, based on the 190 or completely different aircraft.
Was this a real concept?
