Baltimore-class heavy cruiser
The Baltimore-class heavy cruiser was a heavy cruiser built by the United States in World War II, and the first to be built by the United States after it was freed from treaty restrictions. It looks a bit like the Cleveland class, and the construction of this class has been delayed a little as the U.S. military's need for light patrols became more urgent in the early days of the war. It was not until April 1943 that the first Baltimore entered service.
