Cutie Plane
She's adorable, and airworthy too! At first this plane started out as just a generic testbed for some new building techniques I've been working on. But I added some details to doll it up a bit. My favorite part of this build is actually the way I used a wing-gear as a nosewheel. A fairly recent idea I had.
Anyway, the plane is loosely based on the Piper Aztec, but it's not exactly a replica. It handles interestingly thanks to the rather aggressive neutral angle of the stabilator. Care must be taken in turns, and recovering from dives. It's rather reluctant to climb, and maxing out the pitch inputs can sometimes invert your roll and set you up for a nasty spin. Don't land too hard, and use a shallow approach angle with about 50-75% throttle for a smooth landing. Have fun flying, and try not to fall in love.
