Harrier Jump Jet
Harrier takes off from Irene Class Fleet Carrier, Luski
Background
Federation
The Harrier Jump Jet started production in the Federation in 1970. Developed by Hawker Siddeley. The Federation saw large importance in the aircraft as a runway was not required for take off. This feature, coupled with various modernizations in the Federation, and its capabilities as a fighter aircraft, allowed it to remain in service for a long time. Upgraded with various Electronic warfare systems and improved engine performance.
Wikipedia
"The Harrier, informally referred to as the Harrier Jump Jet, is a family of jet-powered attack aircraft capable of vertical/short takeoff and landing operations (V/STOL). Originally developed by British manufacturer Hawker Siddeley in the 1960s, the Harrier emerged as the only truly successful V/STOL design of the many attempted during that era, despite being a subsonic aircraft, unlike most of its competitors. It was conceived to operate from improvised bases, such as car parks or forest clearings, without requiring large and vulnerable air bases. Later, the design was adapted for use from aircraft carriers." -Wikipedia

@Pilotmario I don’t build everything for the RP anymore. This is where our backgrounds conflict.
Would "analysis of wrecked Kestrels" be under "Federation" section?
Nice, 10/10
