Captain Nyleah

Fast and precise delivery of cargo and supply to and where in the globe, that's the principle behind the creation of this ship. ANS Sakanaia is the 8th ship of the Heritzer class. She is a fast fleet support ship capable of quickly going back and forth between a supply base and a battle fleet. While not being the primary ship supplying a fleet, her service is always a welcomed addition. A fleet with these ship in them will be able to conduct extended duration mission and resupply quick at sea.

Development
In 1999 the arsenian navy conducted a fleet review which would result in the modernization of the fleet. This resulted with the creation of plan Milenium, this program would see the retirement of several class of ship and the construction of many other class. One of the primary target was the navy's auxiliary support fleet. In the program would be three class of support ships the Heritzer, Magnavia, and Verstelle class. The design of the Heritzer class was one of the last to be completed in the program, her design would only be completed in 2010 due to the prioritization of the front line warships. The design would prioritize speed and stealth to be able to resupply fleet quickly and silently. By 2011 the contract for the whole class was awarded to several different shipbuilders with ANS Sakanaia being constructed by Capital Shipbuilding. The whole class would be one of the last priority for the navy due to the modernization effort of the front line fleet. Due to this the ship would only be launched in 2015 and commission in 2017.

Design
The Heritzer class is designed around speed and stealth, her superstructure is shaped to minimize radar returns and her hull design for speed. She is powered by two marine diesel engine allowing her to reach speed of up to 33 knots. She possess extremely long range due to her large fuel tank, this would also allow her to refuel lighter ships such as frigates and USV. Her primary job is delivering supplies, for this she is equipped with a large and expansive cargo hold capable of resupply a whole fleet. In order to quickly deliver supply she is equipped with a large number of crane, she would also regularly use helicopters to deliver cargo and supply. For self defense she is armed with 16x AAM-220N Orcs for mid range air defense, 24x AAM-275N Gremlin for short range air defense, 2x ASuR-44 grenade launcher, and a single KNX-770 Type-5 Lazer CIWS.

Service
In 2017 she would began her service career with her first deployment with the Atlantic armada. She would regularly supply the ship in support of the other ships in the Auxiliary fleet. Her presence was welcomed by the sailors of the fleet as she was the only ship used for supply run to the fleet's home base of Novyasski. She would regularly exercised her capabilities to go back and forth between ports and the fleet to deliver supply and packages to the sailors in the fleet. She would be given the nickname santa as she would bring "gifts" for the fleet, her crew would embrace this nickname by calling them self Santa's little helper.

In 2019 the Sakanaia would be transferred to the Pacific fleet. Her role wouldn't change even with the larger area of operation presents in the Pacific theatre. She would have quiet career up until 2020 and the kastorel sea conflict. The 3 nation of Charnia, Ursea, and Arsenia would go into war over the Kastorel sea region. In this conflict she would perform her intended duty of a fast supply ship going back and forth between the warzone and a safe harbor. Even being an important part of this war she wouldn't encounter any enemies and would have a quiet career. This would change in 14th june 2020.

At 21:28 the Sakanaia was heading back towards the 88th surface battle group to deliver supply and rearm the fleet. The ship would receive receive a message from the fleet, it was under attack by Charnian warships. Nyleah the captain of the ship would decide to wait in the area until the battle was finished. She knew that her ship is not equipped for direct combat. At the same time a detachment of the Charnian fleet appeared on radar. It was two ship a 052D destroyer and a 054B frigate, Nyleah immediately order the ship to change direction and go to flank speed. While the two charnian ship hasn't realized a valuable supply ship was in the area, the Sakanaia had already detected the two ship with the assistance of the ATH-62 Terrier helicopter. At 21:34 the sakanaia decided to attack first, she bagan launching all of her 16 orcs towards the two ships. The 052 and 054 began launching its air defense missile, while most of them got intercepted a missile would hit each of the ship. The 054B got hit in their forward VLS Magazine causing a large explosion, while the 052D received a hit near the rear hangar. This strike managed to slow down the two ship enough for the sakanaia to escape the battlefield and eventually regrouped with the rest of the fleet.

After the battle she would receive a battle star for her actions and her devotion to the service. After the war she would continue her quiet service and served the navy honorably. Her class still remain the only one capable of fast resupply and delivery.
