Vtol up folds wings, vtol down lowers arrestor hook, throttle controls airbrakes. There are other Cougars out there, but i think this is a nice version, much nicer than some. As always some cheats due to simpleplanes limitations but still a fun build, i merged a couple of paintschmes as couldnt find enough photos of any one schemeEnjoy

@MallardDuckAviation yeah sounds good, just create a non-public post on here and share some links (I use discord as it works straight off) =)
If you want I can email you some good pictures of a similar paint scheme from the Pima Air and Space in AZ. I was just there Wednesday
@GhostHTX I finally got round to making that gloster javelin :) what's next I wonder...
AMERICA!!!!
@MailboxIsMyGender I made that aero alca for you :)
@MailboxIsMyGender I've just got back from the scampton airshow, will give a l159 a go this week, and hopefully a gloster javelin :)
Yeah man plays in my mind
@Awsomur if you mean wobbly on the ground, that's a mix of simpleplanes wheel dynamics and the narrow track undercarriage, I tried to iron out as much as possible but still needs some rudder input during takeoff
Incredible, albeit wobbly.
I figured that this wasnt just a coincidence... Nice model, though.
Now, since you mention it, my Gloster Javelin is way better than this...blah blah better weapons... blah blah no upvotes... blah blah cockpit blah blah...
Now you can get to work ;-)
@RamboJutter
Excellent! You'll be gold in no time!
@Tang0five thanks all the same, I'll keep building, you keep enjoying them :)
@GhostHTX thanks people, I felt this was better than a direct comment to a post we are all aware of =) it did turn out nice, still flawed in places (wing tips, nose length etc) but it was starting to take ages to tweak. Not the nicest of aircraft to model mind, if only the comment had been about a javelin or mirage....
Upvoted, spotlighted, hat off, nod, wink, so on and so forth. Bloody lovely job.
Probably my last spotlight I'm going to be able to do buddy, nicely done!
