The B-50 was a stategic bomber created by Boeing after World War II. The bomber was an upgraded B-29, fitted with more powerful PW R4360 radials, taller tail, stronger structure, and other improvements. The B-50 was the last piston powered bomber built by Boeing for the US Air Force. Between 1947-1953, 370 of these bombers were built. These planes were operated by the Air Force for nearly 20 years before being retired in 1965.
