Based on a theory I had come up with I’ve created a test project to conclude that each shot to a specific part from a wing gun produces a random ammount of damage, for instance the regular fusalage can sometimes only take 3 hits while other times it can take 5...Im not complaining or anything, nothing wrong with it I just think its interesting.

@hafydays ok so im late but i know one thing. Making your fuselage heavier can increase its survivability to missiles
Sams dont use explosion to kill, it uses sreong force in this game
@Zanedavid I don’t actually mind it too much. It gives the effect of a s hitting something vulnerable which makes the plane crash quicker. What would be cool is being able to change the caliber of machine guns like you can now with cannons and also being able to limit how much ammunition they have

This is so odd but it answers so many questions I’ve had! I guess it means the damage dealt by guns is random

It doesn’t appear so, it still seems random, however I think somewhere in the code when creating a new design it does resets on damage, this might come into play if something glitches, just another theory though @hafydays

@Zanedavid oh its okay, but I have a theory, probably not accurate but, I think the larger the fuselage, the stronger the fuselage... I think.... can you prove it?

As a XML modder the wing gun goes from 5 to 35 damage.
I don't really know the exact number this just observations tests from like a year ago
