FT-05 Mobius
This was originally going to be a submission for a weird aircraft challenge as a star wars tie style starfighter with lots of s-foil type stuff jutting out of a small cockpit area. I then realized that some parts started looking like it's from a MiG-29.
So I changed the concept into a High capacity, light fighter with an unusual cockpit arrangement to exploit the advances on radar systems and maybe to be used as drones.
It has enough missiles to overwhelm countermeasures, and the maneuverability to keep up even with the most maneuverable fighters. It has 18 hardpoints and can carry up to 8 ASMs or Boom 50s (maybe more if you're willing to drop them while inverted),
It uses a vanilla jet engine that gives it a speed of 1100 mph(gradual dive from 30k-10k ft), 1050 mph at 30k ft in level flight, and 900 mph at 10k ft.
AG: 1-3 releases missiles in pairs (wingtips, and inner wing)
AG: 4-6 releases missiles in fours (outer wings(over/under), and the top missiles on the inner wings)
AG 7: to activate the spare flares
It's name is derived from the Mobius strip because of its top, and bottom view is very similar which gives an illusion of only having one side, I suppose it can also be a metaphor on its maneuverability implying you would only see one side of it.
It's also a nod on Ace Combat 4's Mobius 1 which sports a somewhat similar livery on their plane, and the ludicrous amount of missiles there are in that game.
