Shipty Co. NJ-2 Cowboy
In the wake of the disater of the NJ-1 back in the early 40s, Shipty Co would make some drastic changes in order to make something that could actually be competitive. Serious redesign allowed the installation of a stronger jet, resulting in the removal of the pistol engine for an intake. The only other improvements were the installation of air brakes, and a lessened payload. Designated the NJ-2, it performed somewhat better than the NJ-1, yet had the same issues with landing gear, speed, and capability. Instead, it was used as a strike fighter against massive pirating rings and guerilla fighters in hostile areas.
