Experiments with Breaking Wind

Auto Credit Based on SpiritusRaptor's Newton's Cradle Ver2
Land Sail version 1.0. Can reach over 100mph. This behaves very close to the real thing. One can tac and jibe into the wind!
Start with a wind around 35 mph. Note high winds can become dangerous.
- Throttle to raise the sail.
- ROLL left/right.
- VTOL to jibe left and right.
- TRIM balance and fine tune steering left/right. If it starts to tip over use this!
- Just in case you get stuck - AG1 to turn on engine.
One can also steer by the position of the sail.
For maximum speed keep the sail close to centre heading into the wind.
Enjoy SR.

@speshy So cool!
Awesome
I hit 140 mph with 30 mph wind
@SpiritusRaptor Oooh
@SpiritusRaptor hey, have you started work on that collab yet? Do you have a preference on which component of the plane you would like to work on first?
@SpiritusRaptor if you want a glance at what people can do in collaborations, Here is my latest collaboration with my pal JoddyFubuki788.
@SpiritusRaptor collaborations are best done with original builds. So how about you go first. Make the fuselage for an aircraft, link it to me, and I will add on the wing structure, then upload, then provide you with a link, then you will add on more and so on.
@SpiritusRaptor oh really? I thought you would have done plenty of collaborations by now... Regardless, collaborations are a good way to work out kinks and create high levels of detail by combining different building styles. One of us will start out by making part of a plane or other project, and the other will add on to that. Such as one of us might make the main fuselage, then upload it as unlisted. Then they will provide the other with a link to the unlisted project phase. The other person will download the first phase of the project and add on to it something such as the wing structure or a custom cockpit for the fuselage. Then the process will repeat until the aircraft has been fully completed.
I have never really donr a collaboration :) but willing to try!!
@HKAerodynamics
@SpiritusRaptor also, can I ask how many actually ask you to do collaborations with them?
@SpiritusRaptor I am interested in doing a collaboration build with you. I don't have a very good way to detail my aircraft as I play on a low impact device, but I like making Fantasy/Modern aircraft with high performance. I have followed your aircraft builds for a while now and I began playing SP thanks to those coffee clan videos 2 years ago, like the supersonic trench run. Ever since then I have been interested in doing a project or two with you.
@PlanesOfOld Check this out

@PlanesOfOld I haven't right now, but I have seen some very good ones. et me check my favourites.
@HKAerodynamics Of course I do and sure thing, fire away!
Hello @SpiritusRaptor . I don't know if you remember me but I have been inactive for 8 months and just got back into the swing of things here on SP. I got a question for you when you get the chance.
Hey man have you got any mechanical gears I need to make some for a few of my current projects and would like to see how they are made. @SpiritusRaptor
@PhilipTarpley Thanks Philip!!
@TheLatentImage Thanks
😢 @TheLatentImage
This is super fun to scoot around in, nice work.
@Mymessage don't advertise and ask for spotlights for your own uploads on someone else's post. That isn't a cool thing to do.
Can you make a f-4 with a working canopy @SpiritusRaptor
Hi do you like This build if you do can you PLEEEEEEEEEASE spotlight it? Please it would be a dream come true
What does the flailing humanoid figure do?
I held it steady for 30 seconds and then yes it blew up XD
@Carol8 Cool.... can get to over 100 mph with 35 mph wind if yo angle it right... but then, errr. it kinda blows up...
