RCP Engineering D-01-300P2F | Amazon Air
You can call this my first serious project in a while.
So you may know about my D-01-200, an airliner meant to compete with the 737 and A320.
Well, I wasn't very satisfied with the flight performance of the -200 (it would only take off at 400km/h, which is absurdly high for an airliner), and decided to revamp its flight model. In the process, I then decided to add... well... just a few things. That's how I got here.
I initially wanted to make an Alaska Airlines livery for this plane, but thinking about Alaska Airlines's strong ties with Boeing, I doubt they'd fly this plane even if it existed. They don't even fly A321neos any more.
So I went with another great livery that's rare on this site, Amazon Air (or you can call it Prime Air if you want). I'm very proud of how this turned out, and I hope you do too!
With that, see you, and wait for the passenger version!

Lore
About the D-01-300P2F
The D-01-300 is the midsize variant of the RCP Engineering D-01 series. With a maximum capacity of 180 passengers, it is slightly larger than the 156-seater D-01-200, and smaller than the 220-seater D-01-400. First released in 1990 in tandem with the -200, the D-01-300 was built to compete with the Airbus A320, and later on, the 737-800.
RCP Engineering offers a passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programme where existing passenger D-01-300s are refitted with a cargo interior and a cargo door. This special variant is called the D-01-300P2F, and over 300 aircraft are currently in service with various airlines.
Flying with Amazon Air
As Amazon Air doesn't actually own aircraft, it wet-leases freighters from other operators. This leads to a rather diverse fleet of 767s, 737s and A330P2Fs.
The specific operator flying these blue D-01s is airStork, a RCP cargo airline that flies for Amazon Air and DHL.
(Note: there is actually a complete lore behind airStork, but I'll share it in due time...)
Improvements
Flight Model
- Made the flying process smoother.
- Takeoff speed reduced by 100km/h, and the aircraft's mass nearly halved.
- Added horizontal stabiliser trim. (yay!)
Cockpit
- Added trim wheel
- Added till (the thing used to steer the plane on the ground)
- Added rudder pedals (I finally figured out how to make them)
- Made the throttle lever slightly more realistic
- Changed colour of the dashboard
- Heading screen isn't just a compass gauge anymore
Exterior
- Added "mask" to the cockpit windows so it looks cooler
- Added those tiny antennas/probes on the fuselage
- Changed the passenger doors
- Added winglets!
The P2F exclusively features:
- Opening passenger and cargo doors
- Full cabin interior (I won't add cargo)
With that, bye for now, and please leave an upvote or spotlight!

@Neruneten21 it's been released, feel free to test it out in VR! Take a look around the interior too; the doors can be opened from inside!
Also, here's the image you requested. The background should be transparent.
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes Boeing 727 Parts
When I spawned this at Wright Final, it exploded. Any help?
Why nose keep explodes
packages are passengers
Other Fokker and 727 parts? Great work!
When it’s the a330 done?
@NAFASIRO we call them ‘O’ (Ordinary) Levels here.
Also I’m only taking them next year
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes Are you taking the IGCSE’s
Now, this is spectacular 👌🏻
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes oh okay
@FLANEFANCY1234 bro I have exams in 3 weeks, just be patient. This is pretty fast considering there are planes that take an entire year to make
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes speed up the process as fast as you can
@FLANEFANCY1234 in October. I delayed it because I have to study
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes when you will release the mobile railway ?
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes gooood, and also can i join the discord???
@teddyone02 it happened on Discord. Also I just added you to the autotag
what the hell happened on the comments here 💀
.
remember, TAG me on EVERY goddamn post hihi love u
@DatMaluchGuy19 the part count is nothing compared to many builds I’ve seen
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes also, i think this is the exact reason i got blocked by so many people, and its because im annoying as heck, which is fair enough... Also, 727 PARTS?????
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes at this point, i ain't gonna continue with my talks at all, because again, i don't want ANY form of harassment to happen.
@DatMaluchGuy19 🤫🤫🤫
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes literally the only person i think of that post high quality liveries that takes 1-2 months to make is a person with the word "dead" on their name, although, i could be completely wrong about it.
