"Woolaroc" Travel Air 5000 Race Plane
240 Elijoria
6.9 years ago
The Woolaroc took part in the Dole air race in 1927. It raced up against 11 other planes, of which all but 2 either got lost at sea, crashed on takeoff, or had engine problems causing them to forfit the race. The Woolaroc made 1st place, putting the only other remaining plane in second. Now the Woolaroc hangs from the ceiling of the Woolaroc musem near Bartlesville, OK.
NOTE(S)
Yes it is very slow, but that was just around the top speed of the time. I tried to keep this as close as I could to realism.
This is my first replica plane, and I've gotta say i'm pretty proud of it

cool
@Elijoria yeah. It happened to me while landing.
That’s weird, haven’t had that problem in tests. Do you mean on takeoff or landing? @BurkeEnterprise
Maybe you should decrease the forward traction on the wheels. It tends to flip.
