Introduction: The P-58 "Zebra" is a mid WW2 american air superiority fighter designed as an alternative to the P-51 "Mustang". It is armed with 6 .50cal machineguns. It is fast and manouverable.
Development: Made as a cheaper alternative to the Mustang in the mid 1940s by the US, the Zebra was made to operate in tandem with P-47s and P-51s for bomber escort missions and air superiority dogfights. It officially entered service in 1945 and was in use until the end of WW2, in 1949.
Tips: to takeoff, put flaps down, throttle to ~30% and pitch up untill it lifts off. Then, put flaps back to normal, throttle up and retract the gears.
Controls: Standard plane controls.
VTOL for flaps.
