Overview:
Originally designed by The Arcadian Republic, the F-19C was intended to fulfill the needs as a carrier based multirole fighter. Avenel Flight took on the job of enhancing the fighters capabilities, increasing it's speed, maneuverability, stability at lower speeds, and payload capacity. Though it is not as nimble in dogfights as other fighters, the Taipan earns it's name by being able to carry plenty of weapons despite it's compact size allowing it to strike targets with plenty of munitions to spare. This makes the Taipan excellent in CAS, and Air Defense, being able to deploy larger weapons like 500lb bombs and cleavers if necessary.

Builders Notes

To my old bud Karzigg, I apologize for not replacing the original missiles, but I figured you'd switch the loadout to your hyper missiles. To all pilots, this thing can dogfight, but it's meant to be stable at lower speeds for strafing targets with rockets and cannons. Right now it is armed with an Air to Air loadout, but feel free to swap out ground weapons as needed. This fighter can carry cleavers but only on the inner pylons, and be aware the extra weight will affect it's flight performance.
