OK, so, yes I've made a J2M before. Two J2M3s to be exact, one of which was my most upvoted plane for some time. However, the J2M5 fixes a myriad of issues mostly regarding speed, stability, and aesthetics. So with improved skill, I built another J2M from the ground up, this time a J2M5!
Still worried about its pitch agility though ;-;
PEA Lore:
Almost unsurprisingly, the J2M5's best friend is... J2M3. But after J2M3, it's A6M2, but the J2M5's third best friend is actually Rafale.
J2M5s aren't necessarily warm-blooded (since planes have no blood), but they are the PEA equivalent of warm-blooded, so basically they just prefer to be warm. This is one of the main reasons you'll rarely find them in night-interceptions, turning targets that J2M5s would normally leave well-protected during the day into easy prey once it's night.
Also, J2M5 is a bit... strange. It was allegedly built to intercept the B-29, yet B-29s have reported the J2M5s hitching a ride on them like some sort of flying Uber. Got any ideas for what the issue is?

@SuperSuperTheSylph He could, but it's a long journey. Right now, the PEA B-1B comfortably holds top spot with a record of 41 upvotes, a huge jump from the MiG-15 at 35 and YF-23 at 34. Plus, within a two week span, the P-39 has more upvotes than any other PEA I've uploaded within 14 days at 26 updoots, but hey, anything can happen. Raiden overtook once, maybe once more...
