Avro 686 “Liverpool”
[Part of FranzPeterSiegfried’s WWII Alternate History universe]
Now this is a real beauty. Good thing I’m not a Jerry, I wouldn’t want to come within a mile of this crazy thing!
Trent remarking about the new Avro aircraft
My first attempt at any semblance of camouflage. This took me way too long to make.
Backstory:
After the introduction of the Argus to the Luftwaffe, the British realized that their now aging Lancasters and Halifaxes were being outdated quickly. So, in their haste to construct a new bomber, the British Royal Air Force sent a team of engineers to transform a bomber like the Avro Lancaster into a new transonic bomber, capable of long distance missions. So, after weeks of designing and testing, the engineers released the Avro Liverpool. Impressed by its capabilities, the RAF ordered a massive quantity of them, and soon became the main bomber for the RAF.
Armament:
18x Boom 50
14x .303 Minigun
Grouping:
1 - Bomb Group 1
2 - Bomb Group 2
3 - Bomb Group 3
VTOL - Flaps
Notes of the Aircraft:
A big brute, this bomber can carry a heavy load to devastate any target it’s sent to. It can be a bit tricky to land, but I can assure you it’s possible. Also, trim is definitely recommended.

Thank you both for your help!
@MTakach Sorry, I guess I forgot to say, I do know that wings taper to the end, but with custom control surfaces (at least trying to build them on mobile) confuses me when I try to do that. Thicc wings We’re just the way I had to do it, since blocky custom control surfaces is just how I understand how to do it. If you can come up with an efficient way - or even just an idea for me to test - to do it with the parts I used, I will certainly integrate them into my builds in the future.
@MTakach with custom control surfaces that is.
@Thelegitpilot13 it's simple: have the wing near the body thicker than the tip of the wing, here's a great example. On the views the pic looking at it from the front. notice how the wings get thinner as they get farther from the body.
@MTakach sadly, I don’t know how to do that with custom control surfaces on iOS... I get that tho. Just imagine it as thicc armor plating, like an A-10.
tbh the T H I C C C wings kind of annoy me (cause you know how wings get thinner as they get away from the body)
@methirasoysa123 whatever you wanna do man. If you do, try spicing it up, like a stealth gunship.
@methirasoysa123 Very spicy indeed 👌
