Fictitious history
In 1941, the German Air Force began a new tender request, including
1. It's a twin-engine jet plane.
2. This is an all-weather aircraft.
3. It can perform a variety of tasks, including intercepting enemy bombers, attacking the ground, fighting at night, attacking ships and acting as a fast bomber.
4, it should be simple to produce and use existing aircraft parts.
5. The runway used when the plane takes off and lands should be very short, so that it can take off and fight at any airport.
In 1943, the allied aerial bombing caused great losses to Germany, and the development of a new all-weather multi-functional aircraft was imminent. In April 1944, the first aircraft code-named P.1130 began its test flight, and in the second half of 1944, the Germans stopped the tests of X-4, HS-293, BV-234, Fritz -X and other weapons.
On December 27, 1944, the German army could not wait for the test of ME-244, and asked to join the Air Force Night Fighting Force. On January 1, 1945, two ME-244 "Manta" fighter-bombers joined the Air Force Night Fighting Force.
ME-244"Manta" fighter-bomber is armed with two MG-151-20 guns, two MK-103 guns and six pylons, which can mount 500 kg bombs, RZ-65 rockets and various guided weapons.
On February 28th, 1945, the production of ME-244 was stopped, because the allied forces bombed around the clock and moved the production workshop to the ground. At this time, four ME-244 aircraft were produced.
At 8 o'clock in the evening of March 2, 1945, four ME-244s took off from the secret airport with eight BV-234 bombs and eight X-4 air-to-air missiles. The pilot was selected by Adolf Hitler, and the operation code was "Segira eve". The purpose was to attack the radar and the returning British bombers at the air base of Mi Jun. At 11: 24, they launched an attack at an altitude of 11,000 meters and fired eight bombs at the British bombers.
April 25(th), 1945,Allied forces bombed the airport of ME-244.
All four ME-244s were blown up. After the war, three unfinished aircraft numbered ME-244A-1 were found in the real estate factory.
