Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2 Gustav (Tropical)
For SimplePlanes
The Bf 109 Gustav closely resembles its predecessor, the F-4, but it features structural improvements and an improved engine, the Daimler-Benz DB-605A. Compared to other fighter aircraft of the time, the Bf 109 G-2 has a strong rate of climb, top speed, ability to retain energy, and a decent turn rate. Bf 109 G-2’s were also issued non-permanent field modifications, called Rüstsatz kits, which gave them the ability to field extra cannons or bombs. Tropical variants of the G-2 served in Africa and were fitted with a sand filter for the supercharger intake, as well as the ability to mount an umbrella on the outside of the cockpit.
The Luftwaffe was the primary operator of the Bf 109, but Bulgaria, Finland, and Hungary, among other countries also used the Bf 109. It would continue service with Israel after the Second World War as the Avia S-199, a Bf-109 derivative.

Author’s Notes
- On takeoff, use 100% throttle, 50% flaps, and 60% trim.
- On landing, use the trim to achieve your glide slope and adjust using pitch. Try to maintain 180-200 km/h. Historically, the Bf 109 was hard to land and so is this one.
- The radiator flaps automatically fully extend after 30 sec of being stationary, since it was procedure to open them while parked.

Can you make E-3 version
Hey, ReinMcDeer, mind if I make a cockpit for this thing?
@ReinMcDeer aww that's sad, it's alright tho. Not really a big deal
@WinsWings thanks!
@G2 oh it kinda does. Its really awesome what we can do with fuselage cutting to make accurate cross sections without panelling
@CerealWithMilk not in the near future
Can we get a Su-57?
@ReinMcDeer Finally!
This thing looks like a TABS unit. I love that simple, yet complex polygonal design for the fuselage. This is a masterpiece. Great work.
looks cool, I love these proportionate solid builds
@Sabertoothyt526 That's pretty much the same as advertising your build on someone else's post.
@TheCommentaryGuy no I just need to know if u like the pla e never said u had to see it
@ShinyGemsBro Haha! Did the same thing. Man this thing really kills now ... literally.
@ReinMcDeer I replaced the nose gun with an actual 20mm cannon and it feels damn authentic now. Very guten tag
Finally
Limited fuel
@ReinMcDeer I’m a fan of its stylized look
Interesting body design
@FarrowTECH Yeah I was really testing the limits of fuselage cutting here. The shapes are good but I think its the shader that makes the seam lines really obvious
@Sabertoothyt526 Wouldnt that be

After hours and hours my first plane is done dassault rafale please check it I need to know if u like it
@ReinMcDeer NICE!
Hey reinmcdeer can u help me finish my plane build its on my profile if any one wants to help im stuck on alot of things like stability wepons and detail im tryna build the dassault rafale
@ReinMcDeer Amazing work!
I like the aesthetic you chose for your builds. First time seeing your stuff. If I could give any input on the build though. I'd have to say the layer overlapping should be a bit less close together as panels are graphically clipping all over on poth mobile and pc platforms. It's not as bad on PC but it's still enough to pull attention away from the plane itself. Otherwise I love it
the best part is the umbrella
it flies like
Mein Gott
10/10 plane
very simple for my toaster
I like it very much 👍👍
