About the Thunderhawk
The Thunderhawk is a Classic American-Style Muscle Car built in 1978. Manufactured By DIA (Dillon's Innovative Automobiles). The Thunderhawk was design for young drivers who wanted something that is eye catching and also affordable enough to get their hands on!
By this, The DIA company took notice on other car manufacturers and decided to take this opportunity and also to earn money big time! The Thunderhawk started production around mid-1978. The first Product from the factory is the base model of the stock Thunderhawk. It's powerplant is a Natural Aspirated V8 Engine, Rear-Wheel Drive layout and a 4-Speed Manual.
The Thunderhawk is quite the popular car like the other muscle cars of the time. It's also participate in Motorsport events as well such as Stock Car Racing, Drag Racing, Demo Derbys, Stunt Shows and even Rally Racing!
Some are even use for Police Application to pursuit those Hot Rods on the road!
