Background:
Due to escalating conflicts and rapidly advancing tanks it was time for Forwith to design and build a new medium. The first blueprints and prototypes were tested in 1939 and given the go ahead. Extra armor was added after prototype testing and it was name the T-2.4A Tetä (medium). Around 4,000 of the first model variants were made with newer variants numbering about 5,500. The first tanks made it to the frontlines in 1940 and served their purpose well. Using the new SS-26 76mm howitzer it easily penetrated most medium and light tanks. The last few were put out of service in 1948 but was still used in various armies.
