The Goshawk is a twin-engine attack fighter built for the UWA military. Designed to provide air support for friendly ground troops and demolish enemy ground forces, the Goshawk gets the job done with its micromissile pods reverse-engineered from fallen NEM weaponry and twin RF-71 energy gatlings. The Goshawk was one of UWA's "budget craft", lacking the sufficient tech to properly combat higher-tier ASFs, yet cheap enough to be mass-produced at a large scale. The Goshawk had helped the UWA reclaimed most of its captured territory by being deployed in sheer numbers against NEM defenses, overwhelming the enemy with unnecessary amounts of cheap firepower.
