The X-02 Wyvern,[a] also known as the X-02A, is a fifth-generation fighter aircraft developed by the Erusean Air and Space Administration. Its striking design is most notable for its variable geometry wings, which fold in at high speeds.

The X-02 is an iconic fictional aircraft in the Ace Combat series, debuting in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies and making various appearances since. Its last appearance in Ace Combat Infinity marked the X-02's first console appearance in nearly a decade.

[Omenian X-02 Lore]

Omenian after a long intrest of the X-02 would make an purchase a 70 Euresians X-02 and the Omenian Air Force would begin to upgrade its avionics to its needs and can use its own omenian made air to air missile which is advanced at its time

While the union is winning the Omenian airforce would begin to get desperate and would begin to deploy its x 02M dispite it was undergoing its upgrade and altough showing success blowing out some of its fighter out of the skies it would unfortunately loose 5 of its Wyvern into the combat but it would show light into the airforce and changing the game for the Union and its allies
