All builds on this list are cancelled. I'm sorry to disappoint, I just don't feel like working again on something that I already finished.

Titanic arriving to Cobh (formerly Queenstown), Ireland

History:

RMS Titanic (Yard number: 401) was a passenger liner of the White Star Line shipping company and the second ship of her class. She was launched in 1911 and would have been finished that year, but due to delays caused by the accidents of her older sister Olympic, she was only commissioned in 1912. Titanic was near identical to her sister with only a handful of changes and improvements.

She embarked on her maiden voyage on the 10th of April, 1912, a voyage that would become infamous. Her captain at the time was the famous Captain Edward J. Smith, also called the "Millionaire's Captain", who would sail the enormous liner on her first voyage as a final feat of his career before retirement (This was indeed, his final voyage as he went down with his ship when it sunk)

Titanic arrived to her first destination in Cherbourg in the late afternoon of the 10th of April, and would leave for Queenstown a few hours later. She reached Ireland on the following day and would soon continue her voyage to America, never to be seen above the surface again.

On the 14th of April, around 11:40 pm, her lookouts spotted an iceberg right in front of the ship. The officer in charge at the time, First Officer William McMaster Murdoch immediately ordered a hard turn to port (ordered as "Hard-a-starboard" due to tiller commands being used at the time), 37 seconds later, the gigantic liner struck the iceberg, causing damage to 5 of her forward watertight compartments, sealing her fate.

About an hour later, the order to get passengers into lifeboats was issued. Just like her sister, Titanic had 20 lifeboats on board at time, which even exceeded the required number by 4, as at the time, a ship of her size only required 16, but White Star decided to add four additional collapsible lifeboats. This, however, was not enough to hold all 2200+ of her passengers, as the practice at the time was that lifeboats are only needed to ferry people from the damaged ship to a nearby rescue ship, and not to hold all of them at once.

Around 2:20 am, the 15th of April, following a violent break-up of the hull, Titanic finally slipped beneath the waves, not be seen again until the discovery of her wreck by Robert Ballard in 1985. Her sinking caused the loss of about 1500 souls and following this disaster, major changes were made in maritime regulations, to ensure no such event can happen again.

My build:

Despite it being larger (more precisely, heavier) than her older sister in reality, with 4364 parts, Titanic has a bit smaller part count than my previous upload of her sister, Olympic. Similarly to her sister, Titanic has an extremely detailed exterior and bridge interior.

The bridge includes all functional instruments, that are even VR compatible (tho the performance cost of the ship might cause it to be problematic on VR, but the future lower detail versions aim to solve this problem).

Besides this, the ship also features accurate 1:1 size and dimensions, custom built propellers for propulsion, functional rudder for steering and some waving flags. One of the great improvements compared to my earlier ships is the usage of a new hull building method, thanks to the fuselage cutting feature of the game. This method allowed me to build a very smooth hull, with a flare at the bow and stern, without the need of paneling.

The propulsion is also highly accurate, as the central propeller (that was powered by a steam turbine) was only engaged above Half Ahead speed, so anything lower than that, the central propeller will not rotate

Controls: (Also included in the in-game craft instructions)

Trim - Steering Wheel
(PC - On-screen input is enabled so you can drag the wheel with the mouse)

VTOL - Enginer Order Telegraphs (Propulsion)
(VR - Use the EOT that is left to the steering wheel)
(PC - On-screen input is enabled so you can drag the lever with the mouse)
(After giving an order, you need to wait 5 seconds before it gets executed)

CAM1 - Main Camera on the Navigating Bridge
CAM2 - Starboard Bridge Wing
CAM3 - Port Bridge Wing
CAM4 - Crow's Nest

AG1 - push the main camera closer to the engine order telegraph

AG2 (+AG1) - push the main camera closer to the compass platform in front of the steering wheel

@DEADSHOT14 Yes, but I sent you a link to an unlisted post with the bridge equipment (click on the blue 'Here' on my first reply), that's just 112 parts and it only has the EOT, the Wheel and the Compass

@realSavageMan bad marketing I believe. I wanted to test how well would it do without any teasers and stuff.
Olympic had a quite a few teasers before it was released, while this one was just posted out of nowhere.
