VoidFrame Canis
"Our VoidFrames traversed the cosmos. Canis claimed our territory."
Note: For those who are in the challenge, have no worries, I have made sure that only one of my entries will place.
The Canis VoidFrame was designed for a different kind of exploration. Instead of data collection, Canis was designed to claim territory, and interact with alien species. Canis was designed under a government contract, and therefore comes with two energy weapons for self defense. Other features include smooth in-atmosphere flight, and jet engines (the previous prototype only had an impulse drive.). The massive impulse drive on this craft has slow acceleration, but it is much more managable, and user friendly.
Controls:
Activator 1: Nightvision.
Activator 2: Impulse engines online.
Activator 3: Weapons online.
Fireguns for the impulse drive. Fireguns for the weapons.
Tips:
Try flying high! No, not 100,000 feet high. Try 500,000 feet. This craft can go to space.
Handling is odd at 200,00 feet. Just keep your speed if you are ascending.
Try to stay at or under 10,000 mph.
Start in the air.
Space is disorienting. Go easy on the controls and note that using the impulse drive will put some odd forces on the vehicle.

@ThomasRoderick Weird. Yeah, a lot of my planes were broken by the weapons update.
@spefyjerbf I don't even mean the impulse cores... Thits thing lags out the designer even after I removed the old impulse cores. Also, when I tested out a newer impulse core design on one of my own testbed airframes (a simple twinmotor light bomber with around 90 parts), it didn't lag out whatsoever. (although weird things do tend to happen when you fly too high, like the plane phasing out of itself and the like...)
@ThomasRoderick The Wild West times of SP lol. Impulse cores don’t work anymore because of how part health was reworked. I’m pretty sure this one lags on my computer too when I try to fly it.
For some reason my computer hates the design: when trying to mount my own impulse core on this thing, this thing lagged out the game for the umpteenth time even before I even connected anything with my own impulse cores. Makes me wonder what was going on in the early days of the game.
These are such cool vehicles, it's just a shame that whenever I try to use implse engines everything explodes (maybe it has to do with me being on mobile)
Noice
Nice!!!
@Sarpanitu @JakeTheDogg Thanks! I have finished the desc.
