Corvega Atomic Air V8

5,600 JonTKocz  5.8 years ago
Auto Credit Based on EternalDarkness's General Aviation Challenge [CLOSED]

Controls largely like a normal aircraft with a few caveats!

-VTOL is used to tilt the rotors. All the way down will bring the rotos to full forward position. A little under 1.4 upwards will tilt the rotors backwards to slow down. DON'T push the rotors any further backwards or the front will hit the chrome trim on the hood and break the rotor.

-AG1 Is the Rear Rotor Tilt Control. Turning this on allows the rear rotor to tilt as well as the front.

-AG8 is your gryo

-WARNING: when landing be mindful of your rotors tilt angle. Too much tilt and the rotor sticks out from beneath the car and will strike the ground when landing!

-The fins serve to trim the aircar

-79-80% Throttle with rotor/rotors at full forward will give fairly level flight at 90/140 MPH respectively

The 2078 Corvega Atomic Air V8 is a derivative of the reliable Corvega Atomic V8 meant to bring the market ever closer to the space age! With familiar controls and levers, car enthusiasts will be taking to the sky in no time!
Features include:
-Cream and white leather
-Dual zone climate control
-Copilot's steering
-Leather seating
-Comfortable Seating for 5
-Twin Rotors powered by Corvega's proven CS-1 1000HP turbocharged engine
-And for peace of mind, a 5 year warranty

While this is a very nice build, it's not what I had in mind for the challenge. I can't accept it :(
