Auto Credit Based on EchoWhiskey11's Krait MKII CPU Test

Model Version: 4
Upgrades:
- Improved max speed to 600 knots
- Improved hover
- Better Detailing and Hull Improvements
- Improved Cockpit

Controls

  • AG1: Main Flight Engine
  • AG2: VTOL/Hover Engine
  • AG3: Activate Weapons
  • AG8: Disable RCN system
  • Trim: Vectored Trim Controls

Tuning: To access the engine and vector controls, Simply select the Panel above the Engine labelled ENGINE ACCESS, use the transform tool, select Connected Parts, and use the nudge feature to lift the engine up, I'd recommend by a value of 30, from there you can change anything you want, and when your done, simply lower it back into place.

Note 1: This vehicle is a VTOL landing and Takeoff only. You must first go into a HOVER (AG2) at least 60% power in order to takeoff, and switch to FLIGHT mode (AG1) to fly forward. To land use Hover (AG2) at anything below 40% power. Remember to turn off AG2 once you are in FLIGHT mode (AG1).

Description
Type: Multipurpose Light Speeder
Crew: 3 (1 Pilot, 2 Crewmates)
Weapons: 4 Heavy Pulse Lasers, 9 Guardians

Manufacturer: Faulcon Delacy

Overview:

The Krait MkII is a reimagining of the Krait Lightspeeder, which was originally manufactured by Faulcon DeLacy in the 3100s. Although the new ship is larger than the original, it possesses many of the same characteristics, emphasizing speed, maneuverability and firepower over defensive capability. The ship also boasts a fighter bay and space for up to two crew members, making it a good option for those seeking a medium-weight, multipurpose vessel.

— In-Game Description

The Krait MkII is a ship manufactured by Faulcon DeLacy. The modern successor of the discontinued Krait MkI, the Krait MkII greatly expands upon the premise of the original, resulting in a larger, well-rounded ship intended to provide a more combat-focused alternative to Faulcon DeLacy's other mid-size multipurpose craft, the Python. Due to its inconspicuous design, the Krait MkII is also less likely to attract the attention of local authorities and has potential as a smuggling vessel.

Builders Notes:

Being that the old version I had on the page was definitely a pain to fly, this improved version is far better. I fixed a lot of bugs, redid hull components, added missing details, and got rid of a lot of redundant parts. The old issue of the model drifting to one side has been fixed so it's easier to mod without having to do any excessive tuning to make it fly straight. Thanks to the most recent update, and PlanariaLabs coding I borrowed for this build, the interior got some major improvements as well. While I could've gone overboard, I've held myself back so it could still run on my phone, sorry. Other than that, Fly safe CMDR.

@DaPandaBoi69420 thanks, I'm coming out with a much smaller count version in the future though. Especially since Frontier starting to pull back slot from Elite is not a good sign.

@DaPandaBoi69420 That's the chorus of 12 jet engines going off at the same time. There's actually 14 total, the 12 being for show since it was difficult to get the ship to fly in a straight line and control it with all the extra pull.
