About the AF-55B
The AF-55B ‘Adelaide’ is the bomber variant of the Eastern Federation Navy AF-55, an airframe originally designed for maritime patrol. The original AF-55 went into service 1951, making the AF-55B the oldest aircraft flying in the Easter Federations line-up of aircraft. Due to its design from a bygone era, the ‘Adelaide’ is not an aircraft capable of outperforming any modern-day aircraft. The primary reason she’s still in service is simply the extremely low operating costs. Officially, the AF-55B is still designated as a bomber, however in practice these aircraft primarily are used to tactically airdrop small equipment (such as small watercraft). Even though this aircraft belongs to the navy, it is incapable of carrier operation; it needs a paved runway.
Note
There are some issues I have been unable to / unwilling to fix:
1. The landing gear shakes when you land after dropping any of the bombs.
2. The menu / left screen in the (pilot) cockpit isn't set up entirely correctly. Nothing is missing, but I forgot to take out some filler information.
3. The navigator seat really isn't that great; I remade the pilot controls, but I didn't feel like also redoing the navigator seat.
4. Also, there is no trim...

Um pouco difícil de manusear mas a aeronave e muito boa, parabéns pelo ótimo trabalho!
Wow, this makes my old phone look like a potato, my old phone would quite literally kill itself trying to run this even on minimum graphics, but my new phone can run this on max, no more having to use pea aircraft
Looks like the Canberra in the future!
I can't even run it properly but I still like it!
Awesome build :)
@THEEND8238927373627 it is not very expensive
@Canadianplanemaker what?
@THEEND8238927373627 HEY!
@Canadianplanemaker dont use apple products they are very overpriced
@Vercezy what ipad you use?
My IPhone 7 can handle this
@Walvis never said anything about 120 fps lmao
It doesn’t get 120 fps but it runs smooth
Although I can’t fast forward without some freeze framing happening
@Vercezy 5000+ parts will deepfry anything but the top performing golden chips. I highly doubt your iPad can push 120fps when loading in a 5000+ creation lmao.
I can do 5000+ parts on max settings on my iPad just can’t fast forward @FalconAero
Runs butter smooth on fast forward on my ipad
What mobile devices people running on SimplePlanes 😂😂😂
@Walvis My Upvote Is The 140th, Congrats Mate.
@ThatOneRoadTrainBuilder19 About that...
@SkyBoogie1the1original The 1111 parts seems like a joke to me now (except if it did have a lot of drag enabled parts)
@SkyBoogie1the1original not really, with 1050 I can still easily do 2000+ at high quality and playable fps
This has over a 1000 parts AND YOU SPAWNED 2 you must have a nasa computer
people help me please, I have problems with shasi !!!!!!!
@Ihavesnowball The taxiways of Avalanche Airport
hey @Walvis, whats the background/map you use for your thumbnail screenshots???
@Neeguh By re-using the cockpit of this post, or by asking a moderator of the website to make your post a successor to this one after you have uploaded it to the website.
How do I give credit? I am currently working on a pretty simple version using fuselage blocks.
Engine start from cockpit and lazy mode. Deserves more updoots
