So here is my catapult again, but this time without a plane. The idea here is for you to attach your creations to the catapult, I am very interested to see what you can come up with. However, attaching your designs to a catapult is one thing. Making them work reliably with the system is another altogether. It is very likely that your designs will not work on the catapult at first. In order to make it work, i suggest that you edit the length, width and angle of the contact skids (highlighted in red for your convinence), as well as the weight distribution of your aircraft if necessary. Remember that the plane will rear up slightly upon launch. VTOL up raises the jet blast deflector, group 1 plus throttle launches the catapult, and group 2 releases the catapult from the aircraft. Designs will be judged by their reliability with the launcher foremost, but a.so by their details, manoeuvrability, weapons, and ease of use. Closing date is 31st May.
