Navy F-18 With Catapult Launcher
*UPDATED VERSION OF THIS PLANE HAS BEEN UPLOADED*
A link to the new design should be in the comments, or you can find it under successors of this post.
This build should have been fairly simple, however, a plethora of problematic bugs with the design turned it into one of my most challenging constructions. Having spent almost an entire day tirelessly finding and fixing glitches with the catapult, I am finally proud to present my Navy F-18 Hornet, complete with functioning catapult launcher and arresting 'hook' (okay, its not exactly a hook, but at least it helps you stop before you plunge into the sea), in addition to some other details. To use the launch catapult, first throttle engines to 100%, wait a second or so, then activate group 1. Immediately after leaving the catapult rail, activate group 2, then deactivate group 1 and retract the gear. You can then fly as normal. To lower flaps, move vtol slider up. To lower the arresting 'hook', move the trim slider up. When using the arresting 'hook', try to land as gently as possible as slowly as possible, to avoid breaking it. For best results with the arresting 'hook', apply full brakes just before touchdown , and keep them on until fully stopped. Landing speed for this aircraft is roughly 120 mph, although obviously this is dependant on the quantity of fuel remaining. Finally, although i do believe this to be mostly bug free, if you do come across any consistent issues, please let me know, and i will do my best to fix it.

@PapaFoxtrotA51 You can use the catapult for your own aircraft but it will likely need fine tuning for the new aircraft. There's a better version of this catapult here:

If you need help with making the catapult work with your aircraft just upload it unlisted and tag me in the comments and I'll see what I can do.
@SajabAerospace ...as in using it in a different build, like launching a different plane and such.
@PapaFoxtrotA51
Of course you can use it! That's why I posted it here.
Whoa...
This. Is. AWESOME! Can i use it?
Thanks for the upvote @JettStorm
@SajabAerospace Anytime!

A new version of this has been uploaded, you can find it either under successors or here
Thanks for the upvote @Thomasj041
There will be a new, updated version of this being uploaded shortly. Mostly aesthetic improvements to the launcher, although there are some other tweaks and refinements.
@SajabAerospace np
Thanks for the upvote @MAHADI
I'm thinking of uploading a new, very similar version of this, but with some cosmetic improvements (for example, the big block behind the catapult rail could be changed to a more realistic looking jet blast deflector)
@SajabAerospace Pas de problême
