Solent SJ-160 Legacy
A Legacy
exactly one year ago, on the 28th of December 2023, I uploaded my first plane to the SP website, and this is based on the exact same fictional plane from the comic "Flight 714 to Sydney".
For some reason I just love that plane, and apparently i already did a year ago. I mean this is literally the same design, just a year better.
Design
it's a swing-wing business jet, designed for both good runway performance and supersonic cruise, painted in the default Solent livery.
Performance
full flap stall speed: ~108 knots
no flap stall speed: ~130 knots
full wing sweep stall speed: ~240 knots
full wing sweep max speed: ~1111 knots (~Mach 1.7)
Takeoff run: ~700m/2300ft
Landing run: ~500m/1640ft
Parts I "borrowed" from other planes
The artificial horizon and the seats are from @GuianLorenzo 's LearJet 75
The Speed and Altitude and all these indicators are from @MonikaAkiyama's CA-50U
VR
I don't have a way of testing if my planes are VR-compatible, but I tried following as many of the curation criteria as I could.

next year i will (probably) build the same plane again but this time on SP2
@Solent19 it's always interesting to see other stories stem from Simpleplanes. I've had a lot of things that I learnt from this site, so it's awesome to know I'm not the only one!
@RestlessGalaxies yeah i thought about that after i had already decided to call it "legacy"
Hehe, I like how you mention A legacy
And what it could mean to someone. Nice design!
