History:

When the Airplane Carrier Fleet for the Kriegsmarine (German Navy) was conceived, even unusual ideas for useful Carrier Planes were considered. One of the ideas pondered was to utilize autogiros on board the carriers.
One autogiro project would have been a combination of an existing fighter airfame and appropriate rotors. The airframe to be used would have been a Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-8. The rotors would have to be coupled to the plane's main BMW engine (BMW 801).
This combination was have enabled the Fw 190 to benefit fom the very short take-off and landing capabilities of an autogiro and to retain the fighter's armament. The inherent maneuverabilty of the autogiro would have made it hard to shoot down for enemy fighters.
Major draw-backs would have been the considerably reduced top speed of an autogiro due to the drag of the rotor blades, the cramped cockpit and the diminshed visibility for the pilot due to the drive shaft of the rotor, traversing through the cockpit. Therefore the project was dropped quietly.

How to use:
Button 1: Start the engine
Button 2: turn on the main rotor
Button 8: Open or close the cockpit
Vtol: Flaps

Turn on button 1 and accelerate to 100% and then activate button 2, the plane tends to go to the right so you should use the rudder, and it will take off smoothly with the help of the flaps or just by raising the plane, the way to take off quickly from the uss tiny is also simple, activate the buttons 1, 2 and 8, lower the flaps to the maximum and raise the power to 100% and control the rudder a little.

Here the link of some of my creations that I recommend if you downloaded this plane.
