Be-22
Berkutov Be-22 is a 2-seat 2,5-gen multirole fighter/attacker/interceptor, that was designed and manufactured in Belarus Soviet Republic in 1958. All in all it's a pretty versatile and manueverable jet that is capable of performing manuevers, other planes couldnt ever dream of thanks to it's advanced yet reliable and easy-to-mantain FBW system.
Due to being sold to a very limited amount of nations, it isn't very popular with Area-88 pilots- but those who are able to get their hands on one usually don't complain about it's characteristics. This special aircraft is flow by a married pair, who were forced to flee their homecountry after being false accused of murder.
Operations manual:
Active groups:1- Deploys anti-stalling chutes, very helpful if you’ve managed to stall your Be-22. Set your throttle to 0, wait till the aircraft is going to slow down it’s rotation, then press the AG-1, wait till the plane’s nose will be pointing to the ground, increase throttle to max, press AG-1 again to cut the chutes. If the aircraft doesn’t point nose to the ground- wait till it’s going to slow down rotation then fire the engines without cutting the chute.
2- Turns on/off flechette anti-missile systems. Really usable when there’s a missile on your 6’o clock. Theoretically can be used against enemies at close range.
3- Releases cassette bomb submunitions. NEVER, I SAY AGAIN LITTERALLY NEVER PRESS THIS BUTTON WITH BOMBS STILL ON THE PLANE.
4- Jettisons 57-mm rocket pods
5- Drops cassette bombs. Drop only when you’re at least 50 meters above the ground, then immediately pull up to avoid blast damage. After dropping count to 2 and press the 3 to release the submunitions.
6- Activates formation lights
7- Nothing
8- Nothing
VTOL- flaps
Things to avoid:
Never exceed speed: 1200 kph- over this speed the plane will become uncontrollable and is going to crash
High AoA- the plane is really vulnerable to stalling and crashing, so high AoA should be avoided by any means
Armament: 1x 30mm automatic cannon- 80 Air To Ground ammo, 80 Air To Air ammo
1x 23mm automatic cannon
2x R-60M Short range Air To Air missiles
2x 57-mm unguided rocket pods
2x Casette bombs
Characteristics:
Takeoff speed: 80 Kph
Landing speed: 100 kph
Cruising speed: 670 kph
Maximal speed: 1200 kph

@YamatoAirlines same with my aircraft, it is probably because he could have tested it at lower speeds, where most aircraft usually tend to struggle with maneuverability.
@mikoyanster may I wonder why was it rated so low in ease of maneuver? It’s got really great turn ratio after all
