Simple Bonanza

4,534 Cardboard  4.8 years ago

A Simple but accurate rendition of the iconic V-Tail Beechcraft Bonanza!

This aircraft features realistic performance (as good as I can), a beautiful navy and gold paint job, and is super fun to fly, trust me.

Its also very blueprint accurate:

Controls:

None, just retractable gear

Pilot Notes: (recommendations only)

-Lands in 495 Ft, Takeoff is 1,115 ft
-Takeoff with half flaps at 85 mph
-Don't land power-off, you're gonna want at least 15% throttle
-Speaking of landing, you should probably try that at around 100 mph and slow down to a flare
-Stalls at 85 mph, but you can still get in and out of some pretty tight spots with proper braking management
Thanks,
**-Cardboard

@Cardboard it flies very well, except that flaps work in both directions, pushing the nose down when you move VTOL slider the wrong way. Wings don't look good, with large gaps in the back. You may want to try this technique. With funky trees, you could have added Yaw input to the tail surfaces too.
