The IL-2 was a ground attack aircraft produced by the Soviet Union in large numbers during World War II. With 36,183 units of the Il-2 produced during the war, and in combination with its successor, the Ilyushin Il-10, a total of 42,330 were built, making it the most produced military aircraft design in the history of aviation, as well as of the most produced piloted aircraft in history.

Known for its toughness, reliability and safety for the pilot, the IL-2 was also known as "The flying tank" because it had armored plates around the "core" of the plane (engine, cockpit, oil and water radiators and fuel tanks)
It was used for several roles, such as ground attacker, bomber escort, recon plane, light bomber and even torpedo bomber, for Stalin it was "essential as air and bread for the Red Army".

• Takeoff: This could be tricky, the plane turns left idk why, so you need to use the rudder to perform a straight and safe takeoff, use flaps to the second position down and at 170mph you should leave the land.

• Landing: Set the throttle to 15-20% and use the flaps to slow down progresively the plane, at 90-100mph you should have the flaps full down... and at 80-90mph you should land smoothly.
