Testa TLM-10/001 Lancer - 1969
DESCRIPTION
Testa entered the 1969 WSC with Chassis 001 of the TLM-10 class, the cars were ran by the L'équipe Testa Autosport or known in the championship as Testa-Renault , a Testa satellite team based in France, a total of 10 chassis were built, this chassis competed in Le Mans, the Targa Florio, and the Nordschleife in the 1969 season, some of the later chassis were still in use by 1975, and showed small successes in later seasons, the car was also powered by a Renault V12 with fuel provided by Elf, and tires provided by Dunlop, the car fell under the racing category of "Sports 2000", with Chassis 001's highest finishing at 12th in The Nordschleife of 1969, Chassis 001 was replaced by 002 for most of the 1969 Season, and finished the season with 6th in the standings, just above Alfa Romeo, years later, the TLM-10 was officially retired after the final race of the 1982 WSC with Chassis 010 finishing 5th place in Brands Hatch.
