The Turbulence Generator weapon is a powerful one, only using the sheer force of wind to kill. It is designed for use on large hovercraft or as base defense. A strange new concept weapon.
It was based on the fact that hovercraft could actually flatten forests when hovering right above them.

It is effective against enemy hovercraft (especially helicarriers), as well as mechs. Can knock down enemy fighters if used correctly. Even deflects missiles to a certain extent.

Don't be too prepared to use it though, you're gonna rack up a HUGE electrical bill. (But hey, it's still much cheaper than a surface-to-air missile.)
